The Superhero Show Their Super Star Power at The Superhero Car Show & Comic Con, San Antonio, TX

What's cooler for the W&HM fans than seeing their beloved superheroes and their iconic cars under the same roof? This is a golden opportunity for the fans of Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, TV, and Movie high personalities to come to meet with their dream stars in person.

At the same time, seeing those super cool automobiles, motorcycles, or even Flintmobile up close they can almost see them in action! On top of all these, it's super air-conditioned inside the Freeman Coliseum, San Antonio, TX, under the great Texas weather outside.

The organizer has made the show experience extremely easy and well directed. There were well-pointing signs that one could find where they want to go easily. Many kudos to the great event put together by the great team!

Large Attendance at the Superhero Car Show & Comic Con Event

One of the main draws was the autograph and photo ops with some big-name movie stars. Many celebrities showed up to support this event and had a great time meeting their fans. We have seen many well-known actors and voice actors who appeared in many famous movies or shows.

The Superheroes' Rides

The car show section was packed as fans got the chance of a lifetime to see many movie cars in reality. Even though many of them are prop cars for visual presentation, these cars are as exciting as they appeared in the movie zooming in and out to fight crimes or ghosts, chase trophies or girls, or just get home with their own feet (Flintmobile).

Here is a quick list of the cars from the movies and tv shows at the show:

  • Night Rider
  • Back to the Future
  • Ghostbusters
  • Scooby Doo
  • Flintstones
  • A-Team
  • Transformers
  • Tron
  • XXX
  • Jurassic Park
  • M.I.B.
  • Blues Brothers
  • Fast and Furious 7
  • Dukes of Hazard
  • Munsters
  • Green Hornet
  • Cars
  • Speed Racer
  • Who Mobile
  • 1989 Batmobile
  • 1966 Batmobile
  • 1966 Batcycle
  • Grease Lightning
  • Ironman Indy car
  • Robocop
  • Herbie the Lovebug
  • and a few from NASCAR

This line up is simply spectacular! One can simply stay for several days just to check out these famous cars in detail!

Cosplay, All The Rage Now

Everything was geared toward cosplay. Many people showed up with their hard-worked costumes and makeup. It's a great tribute to the superheroes and characters that they love.

There was also a Cosplay costume contest that gave away cash prizes to kids, groups, and solo adults. That's a totally awesome sight to see!

Big Stars and Cosplay Contest on Stage

Stage activities were interviews and q&a with some voice actors and several stars. This is the chance that fans could possibly ask a direct question to their beloved character actor. It's a perfect time for the big audience interaction in a personal touch.

The cosplay contest and awards were pretty cool, huge tokens of appreciation and confirmation to these dedicated artists.

The Blues Brothers concert on Friday night was a great time to have. The cool songs and great actions brought lots of fun to the audience.

Many Supporting Vendors at the Show

There were many vendors, from comics, pop vinyl, popcorn, a food court, a free arcade game experience, Pez candy, autograph framed pics, cosplay helmets, masks, and toys, cosplay clubs, home improvements, and artists. They provided something for everyone from kids to adults.

What a Great Show That We Look Forward to Already

It's such a wonderful show that has many forms of entertainment. It's part way from the traditional car shows that showcase mostly the mods and customizations of cars. This time, these cars were built from the ground up or went through an extreme makeover to fulfill their critical roles in the movies and TV shows.

Of course, the great celebrities that showed up at the show and personally greeted their fans and did the stage Q&A are the superheroes of the show. They built stronger bonds with their fans.

The cosplay trend is running strong and we are so glad to see that it's getting bigger and bigger. At the show with contest prizes and whole-hearted cosplayer participation, it's a great time ensued.

We totally look forward to the next Superhero Car Show & Comic Con event already!
